Our teams are made up of a variety of NHS staff with specific training and qualifications to support the emotional health needs of children, young people and families in the community.
Our Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (EHWP) team provide support to professionals working with children and young people. The EHWP Team work with professionals and schools not covered by the Mental Health Support Team.
The EHWP's do not work directly with children and young people.
Our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) work directly in specific schools across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We promote a 'Whole System Approach' to improve the mental health of the entire organisation, including the mental health and wellbeing of staff.
Delivering excellence in Children and Young People’s Services: a partnership between Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
