Understanding RSV

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common cause of coughs and colds. Most children will get an RSV infection at least once before they are 2 years old.

RSV infections usually get better by themselves, but can sometimes be serious for some babies and older adults. Read more about about RSV.


RSV Vaccine

The RSV vaccine helps reduce the risk of of RSV causing serious problems such as pneumonia and bronchiolitis. It's recommended during pregnancy and for adults aged 75 to 79. Read more about the RSV vaccine.
