Cow's milk allergy
A cow's milk allergy is when the body’s immune system reacts to the proteins in cow’s milk as if they are harmful. This causes an allergic reaction. The reaction can be mild or severe. Cow's milk allergy is one of the most common food allergies in babies and young children. Most children will grow out of their allergy before school age.
