Hello, I'm Lois!

I'm one of the Health Visitors from the 0 to 19 Healthy Child Programme team. I want to share some exciting news with local expectant parents. We know pregnancy can be a time of both joy and anticipation, and can also bring some worries and questions. That’s why we’ve created a special Pathway to Parenting Antenatal Programme just for you. Our free face to face sessions are designed to help you feel more prepared, confident, and connected as you get ready to welcome your little one into the world.

Our free Pathway to Parenting face to face programme is designed to help you feel more prepared, confident, and connected as you get ready to welcome your little one into the world.

Embrace your journey with us

Expecting a baby can be a time filled with lots of different emotions including joy, excitement, and sometimes worry. I understand this and want to support you through it all.

How our Pathway to Parenting Antenatal Programme can help you

To make this journey easier and more enjoyable, we are offering free Pathway to Parenting Antenatal Programme sessions. These sessions have been made for first time expectant parents and carers. They aim to help you feel more prepared and confident.

What you can gain

The programme lasts for 3 or 4 weeks, depending on your location. Each week covers a different important topic. These sessions will help you to:

  • feel more prepared by learning what to expect during pregnancy and after your baby arrives
  • boost your confidence by gaining tips and advice that will make you feel ready for parenthood
  • connect with others by sharing experiences and support with other expectant parents
  • get expert advice by hearing from professionals who can answer your questions and ease your worries
