Training programmes

The Children’s Community Specialist Nursing Service deliver yearly competency-based training programmes to external organisations/carers for identified health care tasks.

This is then followed by an assessment of competency to ensure staff are equipped with the skillset to safely support children and young people with complex health needs. This training may be delivered face to face or by one of our online training sessions.
