Peterborough Children in Care Health Service

This service is for children, young people, parents, carers and 'corporate parents' living in Peterborough.

You can contact our service Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

We aim to respond to you within 48 hours.


If you have concerns regarding a child’s welfare, please contact Peterborough City Council through the Peterborough Children and Families portal 

If you think you or the child is in immediate danger and needs urgent help, please call the police on 999.

Professionals - guidance

Our role is to provide the statutory health assessments for Peterborough Children in Care, Other Authorities Children in Care placed in Peterborough and request them for Peterborough Children in Care placed in other counties.

Referrals are only received from the local authority.

For any further support, please contact the Healthy Child Programme universal services team to speak with a health visitor or school nurse.
